Saturday morning, Sunday morning

Awake at 5am, up by 6am and on the road by 6.50am! Off I went to Billericay and by 12.30 I'd found 10, very diverse, caches, walked several miles and had a very good morning. I must say, it's been many years since I've been to Billericay, and I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice little town it is. I had an excellent day, wandering around the area, and discovered some lovely woodland areas and some fascinating historical features, including two excellent earthcaches; Norsey Wood Tumulus (GC18FZ7) and Norsey Wood Deer Bank (GC18G0Q). Check 'em out, they're really interesting.

Getting up early also gave me time, in the afternoon, to pick up some excellent swag for the cache that I'm planning at the moment. It's going to be a corker, if I do say so myself, so keep an eye out.

This morning I was checking out locations for the new cache, so I walked more miles. Geocaching must have improved my fitness, the number of miles I've walked in the past year. Mind you, it won't have been difficult to improve!
